10th April pre-season working party and BCC membership survey

10 Apr 2020

Dear Club members, Players, Colts & Parents and friends of Billericay Cricket Club,

Welcome to the 2020 cricket season!

In preparation for what is shaping up to be a bumper year for the club we are planning our pre-season working party and encouraging a big turnout from all players and members - there will be plenty of food and drinks to keep everyone fully replenished.

Working party date for your calendar: Friday the 10th April [Any time between 09:00 - 16:00].

We understand all of us have very busy lives and time is precious, so asking for an hour or two of your time to help out at the club is difficult. Unfortunately, like so many amateur organisations we rely on volunteers such as you to provide wonderful facilities for our children, players, members and visitors to get the key tasks done.

Alternatively, if volunteering time is difficult then please consider other ways of supporting BCC by, either:

1. Purchasing a £1 Friday night raffle ticket [or two] each week

2. Making a separate donation toward a specific Club project or fund raising activity [please speak to Dave Randall or Andrew Maxwell for details]

3. Joining the "200 club" https://billericaycc.co.uk/pages/page_26951/200-Club.aspx This is a very low cost way to help fund club improvements and an opportunity to win cash prizes!

Finally, would you mind completing a short membership survey to feedback your most important priorities and suggestions for improving BCC, please follow this link or copy & paste into your web browser https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NDK5RQ5 - we welcome your views.

Thank you once again for all your help and, please remember, we couldn't achieve half the BCC improvements without your brilliant support!

Hope to see you at the working party on the 10th April.

Best regards,

BCC Committee
